ELC's mission is to provide high-quality early childhood education and early intervention for infants, toddlers and preschoolers in an inclusive educational setting. The inclusion model creates an environment whereby each child is able to receive the support they need in the same classroom as their developing peers - to learn, develop and enjoy positive interactions with one another.
Who We Are
The Early Learning Center(ELC) is NCC's flagship early education program in Washington, DC and is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children(NAEYC). NAEYC is the gold standard for early education across the country and only a few programs in the District of Columbia have reached this standard.
What We Do
NCC currently provides comprehensive services to nearly 200 children each year in DC. On-site physical, occupational and speech therapists are available. Resident Nurse of staff to help manage children's medications, administer breathing or feeding treatments, attend to accidents/injuries.
